Sr. Santo Nino Sinulog of Miami collaborated with ICOP (Integrated College Outreach Program) of Cebu Doctor's University in fulfilling it's 2009 Medical Mission to the Philippines. We provided free medical, dental, optical, nursing, laboratory, and rehabilitative services to the surrounding barangays of San Isidro Parish in Calidngan, Carcar, Cebu. It was a spiritually enhancing and most humbling experience.
San Isidro Labrador Parish
Located 6km from highway and approximately is 40km from Cebu City.
San Isidro Parish is home to parishioners who travel up to 3 hours by foot to attend mass.
The nearby rural population ranges from young to old with little access to healthcare.
The new church, which has been in existence for approximately 50 years, has yet to be completed in it's entirety.
Pieces of the old church have been used to construct an Activity Center,
where ICOP and Sinulog of Miami will hopefully perform it's Medical Mission.
